2008 Ford V-10 (any good performance Upgrades?)

Own an '08 F-350 V-10 and was wondering if anyone has had any luck with performance upgrades. Have owned 3 diesels prior to this V-10 and yes could kick my self for not holding on to the diesel, but am not going to take a $10,000 hit on trading it in. Need some performance upgrades to make it a better tow vehicle. Tow a 29' Four place enclosed currently.

Were the 92's still kingpin? I thought that Ford went to the ball joints in 93 but I've been told they changed in the 80's. You could do a ve pump cummins swap pretty cheap if you are mechanically inclined. A buddy of mine is doing an 85 f350 and hes going to have around 3,000$ in it finished. Thats buying most of the parts outright and not counting what he might get out of the 460.

Does your truck suck that bad? What are you towing and what gearing does it have?

I wouldn't say it sucks that bad but is not a diesel by any means. Has 4:10 gearing but seems to downshift alot. Pulling a 29' four place enclosed. Thought I could buy alot of gas for the $7,000.00 is would cost to buy another diesel. You just cannot replace torque. Will probably just hold on to the truck for awhile and see what comes out in the next couple of years. I think GM and Ford are still dealing with emission issues on their diesels. I know Dodge is.
