I think the problem is lack of fuel at around 6000-6500 rpm which causes it to overheat and seize. Cold seize would be operator error according to Polaris. Hope yours lasts man. Mine is on the second motor and is starting to stumble on acceleration. You should be covered under warranty until 2010 or their new flash or fix comes out. Good luck.
