Sounds like there has been 1000's of complaints and failures with the 2008 to 2010 800 Polaris motors, me included.
Motor went 3x from lean burn downs. 2000 miles on it now. Polaris covered 2x but would not the 3rd time because the warranty expired last June. Which is b.s. My first ride out last November it seized again, both pistons and cylinders. I replaced with Wiseco Pistons and Millinium Cylinders. Finding out the Wiseco pistons are doing better than the Polaris pistons. Any way I think Polaris needs to do something about this on going problem with there lemon
I am posting the Polaris help line number thinking if they get enough calls, they will do something about it, which they need to, or they will loose 1000's of customers. THE NUMBER IS 1-888-704-5290. I have called it 2 weeks ago asking to hear a reply back on what they will do.
