2008 Dragon 700, will these shocks fit?

I have a 08 Dragon 700 121" that came with the 2.0 front shocks. I came across a good deal on a pair of Walker Evans w/coil piggy backs.

I am being told they will fit my sled with no problems but am concerned that the piggyback resevoir is going to interfer with the plastic.

Can anyone give me any insight on this?

Post pictures or part numbers but it sounds like you have a set of Walker Evans Assault shocks. If that is the case, you will probably have issues. The Assault has a wider stance and uses a longer shock than the RMK and Dragon. RMK and Dragon can each change out their shocks with each other.

I don't know of a piggy back Walker other than on the Assault

They Fit! I was told that some trimming or heating and bending the front plastic a little may be required, but that is not the case. Here are pictures after installation on my 07 RMK, which has the same plastics that you have. These are not assault shocks, they are for RMK's from Tri City Performance.

Looks like you need a heavier spring!

Gothca! Just looks like the preload is threaded down too far and the spring is squashed leading me to believe it is too soft of a spring.

is the 2009 dragon a 121 like yours? if so then they will work. but if its say a 155 or 163 dragon they wont. The 121 dragons have a wider ski stance which require a longer shock.
