2008 d8 bar risers - how tall ?

08' Dragon - stock risers are 6". I've bought a set of 9" risers, will they fit ? As I have to cut/ notch the stock riser to get the cable's out of it.

It will fit right on, but you are going to need cable extensions.

You shouldn't have to cut the stock riser. The hardest part is to take the wires out of the left brake lever. It comes apart and you can fish them out that way if you want to salvage it for resale.

I hacked the old one off of mine when I changed to a taller riser so I wouldnt have to undo cables. Its not the right way but it worked.
