2008 600 RR I NEED HELP PLEASE

My sled when't from running like it has since the day i got it to being a real pile in 24 hrs. It will not rap more than 6500 RPMs. even on the stand. I've been thru the carbs 4 times all new parts in the carbs and now even the float ASM. and no mods done to the carbs. all the same jetting i have always had in it. Also a new TPS and it is install per all the youtube videos and is spot on 4.0. I know i dont have the answer, but it has to be something making it hid a rev limiter, or what ever limp mode is, at leased thats what it sounds like. Any ideas i sure could use some help.

Sounds like the VES valves not opening up, could be a torn bellows...

Nothing in the VES was torn and the spring were not broken. The bellows looked thin though. How do i check to make sure they are opening or that the elec. valve is opening to let them open.

I dont mean to sound dumb but check that the throttle cable is in proper adjustment. Probably not but its worth a check. What's your compression? Any irregular colored smoke? Did you just dump gas from the carbs and kinda clean them? Or did you tear every piece down, let them soak, blow out, clean and completely rebuild them?

Carbs are ran with one cable on a rack, and i have every part in the carbe new and they are in sink, Thanks thou. My thoughts are that it is something other than carbs by the way it is reving out at 6500 RPMs Thanks everyone for all the input.

Clutch springs? Both drive and secondary? Exhaust outlet not bent? If all good then possibly the cdi went out and stuck in overheat limp mode...

Springs are both good and no dents in the pipe. Found someone with a cdi box that we know is good so we will try that in a few day when the weekend comes. Thant to everyone for the input. If anyone has more advice ill take it. Ill also let everyone know what the outcome is when we figure it out.

Sorry i never posted the answer to all of this. It was the crank being twisted 30 deg out of phase that caused all this. Bad o ring in the carb and a full tank of gas. It gravity filled the crank case and cyl rt passed the float and when i pulled the rope for the first time that morning **** went south real fast.

When you in countered your condition, did the machine run ok when it was cold? My rr does the same as yours from the sounds of it. Although mine did run ok when first fired up but as the day went on it ran like ****.
