I do have an engine that would be prime for someone that wants to build it up for racing. The engine core is in great shape, however it has some minor damage on one of the pistons, which is why I'm saying it'd be perfect for someone looking to build it up and modify the crap out of it.
It only had 3,200 miles on it, all synthetic amsoil fluids. Just a stupid mistake at not looking carefully at each of the plugs and realizing that the auto shop gave me all 4 correct boxes, but one of the plugs wasn't the same model and ended up being 2mm longer than the others. Needless to say, the spark plug dented the top of the piston on one cylinder. The head is fine. The engine still runs fine, however, you would want to have this fixed in order to have full power again.
What would be needed to bring it back to stock:
a) re-plate cylinder $300
b) piston and rings $150
c) valve $30
d) guide $30
e) gasket kit $60
Everything else checks out fine with the engine in the tests that they ran it through.
I'm looking to get $1,800 plus S/H. I would be willing to ship worldwide if needed, but please contact me first so I can get you an accurate quote. If in the US, it will be roughly $200 for s/h.
