Need help, I am considering buying a 2007 XRS 800r 151,I have herd alot of bad things about clutching, cranks, and the track.I have rode with this sled before, it is a original owner with 1500 miles it has a cover, can, has been clutched, and has a new camoplast track. The guy wants 6000.00,What do you think?I have never owned a skidoo I currently ride a 03 verticale escape 159,What would I gain or not gain? Thanks for replys please help.

My brother-in-law has that same sled and it rips. I have never been on anything like it. If it has 1500 miles and has not dropped a crank yet-then you are OK. The clutches just needed to be adjusted and if it has been done-great. That sounds like a great deal to me.

you will gain horsepower, riding skill ( thats right the sled will make you better) higher hill climbs confidence in boondocking, and a perma grin from the pull on your hands when you squeez the throttle. you'll lose weight, and probly polaris forever.

Thats kinda funny, i was in the same scenario a couple of years ago with a 03 escape, twins,ect.. i baught a buddys 07 xrs 159 with 200 miles, all it had was a can, i have scince put a head y-pipe reeds pipe and a team secondary on it. It has 3750 miles on it now and absolutly ripps. The only thing its been in the shop for was the primary update. I realy like the track it climbs like no other in harder snow but after reading some of the other posts i would like to try the powder max. Three of my buddys also ride 07 xrs's in the 151 and are fairly stock with cans none have had any problem. I say go for it and enjoy many many polaris spanking days. :)
