2007 Switchback Rider Select handle bars Problem, Help!

I have an '07 switchy that has the stock rider select handlebars. I came home today and moved them back. I pressed down the button to move them, and the actual button under the lever stuck down and wont pop back up therefore the bars wont lock and they slide back and forth. Please tell me how or how you think i can fix this. Going to Cooke City this weekend, and need to know fast.

A little silicone spray in there will make a world of difference. My buddy had the same problem on a recently purchased 07 600 switch, he took it apart and cleaned it up and silicone sprayed it and it works great
