I was just looking at a 07 xrs 159, 2000 miles ,He is the original owner, and told me it was the best sled he ever owned, He mentioned the crank issues, the clutch issues, the challenger lite issue, The sled has been in for clutch updates and that is it. Soo is there actually 07 xrs sled owners that are or (where happy) I had a xrs 151 it ran great but clutching was a challenge, Lets hear the replies. Thanks for your input

At 2000 miles it's a bomb with a very short fuse. Good sled when set up though

For the right price I wouldn't hesitate to buy a '07. Check it out...particularly the bottom end and make sure it's true....throw in a fresh top end and enjoy.
Any mountain sled should be gone through around 2k anyway.
The single biggest improvement to be had is in the track.....sounds like you've done your homework....great sleds when the issues are taken care of.

2007 xrs

I have read alot of posts that say if the engine went 1500 miles or so it was all right and most of the crank issues came early? It seems like the xrs sell for 3900 to 4500 ?

No, all '07 motors were garbage. Any replaced at the start of the season were garbage, any replaced after the new year were solid. Even moreso if you got a engine during the '08 model year.
I had 2400miles on my demo without a hiccup. Sold it to a buddy, he changed oils and stopped running 100:1 premix. 400 miles later he took out a crank. I don't blame him for the crank going, but I do blame him for it going so quickly. Any 2-stroke loves premix, especially Rotax 2-strokes.
