2007 Summit 800r crate motor crank problems

Last year I purchased a new crate motor from my ski doo dealer because I lost a crank bearing at about 2800 miles. I am wondering after reading about the case machining issues that I have recently read about on this forum if the factory crate motor that I purchased will have the same problem.
Does anyone know if ski doo has upgraded these motors.
Thanks

yes they fixed it, It was nothing more than the case bearing tolerance.,If you got 2800 mountain miles your was likely fine and was due.

Exactly. You can verify the new cases (correct tolerances) by looking for the "R" stamp near the area where the motor tensioner rubber pad touches. Below and to the right of it there is a circular area where it will be.

Have FUN!
