2007 SkiDoo Summit X 800R - 144" First Time out west

Heading out to WY in 2 weeks. What do I need to do to the sled for the elevation 10k?

I want to keep it as inexpensive as possible and just want to do the bare minimum.

I have a few parts from the dealer assuming they are for out west (pin, gears & chain)

thanks in advance!

I ride between 3 & 7000' in Mt. When I went to Cook City last year I had to run on clicker 6. If I go this year I will drop some pin weight to run in clicker 3-4. It ran a little rich but not enough to change jetting. If I were you I would drop about 1.5-2 grams and start there.Take along some smaller jets just in case ( it's not that fun but you can change them on the hill if need be ). Maybe a stiffer primary spring while you are at it. Callthe neerest doo dealer in the area and ask what they recommend.

If your doing the least possible then take the gears and chain back you don't need to change those just to go to Wy. Where abouts are you riding in Wy?
Just go there and have fun.:face-icon-small-hap

The gears and chain came with the sled. I think I will just change the pins out and change the clickers.
