2007 rev 800 broken reverse switch? what do you think?

Today when I was riding the sled.The electronic reverse switch broke and when ever I slowed down it went into reverse. I only got launched over the bars once from it. The dealer said the warrenty was up on 11-30 the day I took it in for service and 10 miles into todays ride the sled launches me over the handle bars when it went into reverse. The dealer says the fix costs 180, do you think I should whine to skidoo or shut up and pay it. thanks for your input.

If it were me I would do a little Pleading, not whining and offer to do the work myself if they would PLEASE give me the part at cost or at least wholesale price.
This works best if you bought the sled from them initially!
(sometimes it helps to remind them that you spend a lot of money with them) !!!
