2007 Rev 1000 bogg issue

:cool:Ok so here's the deal, changed the battery out on this tank cause the dude that owns it never rides it. We have been using it as a back up all year.

We have found a mid range bog at around 5800 -6500 RPM range. If you hammer it no issues, but if you try to run it at cruising speed it boggs.

We were wondering if mapping would be toast do to the sled having a dead battery prior riding it.

Set up- slp pipe and can.

Thanks
C

Any check engine light on? Here's some common stuff:

E-raves dirty, gears and cable binding,
Low pressure fuel pump, fill tank to cap and ride to bypass
Check fuses, replace or swap relays
Battery voltage minimum 12.5 volts
Try a different can if available, a restricted exhaust causues bogg on an RT
Check Y-pipe for inner wall collapsing and restricting exhaust.

We were wondering if mapping would be toast do to the sled having a dead battery prior riding it.
Shouldn't be an issue but could never rule out anything. Sometimes a TPS reset (only can be done by dealer) can cause bogging but is not common
