2007 polaris iqr 440 mix gas\oil injection

Hey guys hoping to get a little bit of help here with my sled. I was cleaning the air box and cleaning the carbs and have a couple concerns. First is the what I i think is the oil line coming off my rave valves, across the top of my engine and down between the carbs. But they don't connect to anything, they aren't Hooked up to anything. When I start the sled exhausts smoke does come out the end of the lines, does anyone know y it is like this? The second thing is there is a oil injection delete on the sled I do know that, but there's a extra nipple on the side of both carbs that also have nothing running to them. Thinking these were for the oil injection if it was on there. Should I block off the nipple or just leave it? Won't it be shocking in extra air make a more lean mixture? Pleas help. Last thing is when I was cleaning the slides in my carbs both slides had a piece chipped out of the bottom corner. Will this also effect my gas mixture?. Running 40:1 gas to oil mixture right now. Here's some pictures
