2007 polaris 700 cfi dragon possible new sled ANY ISSUES WITH THESE SLES ?

I feel that the 2007 D7 RMK 155 stock, is the best sled that Polaris produced to date my bro has one with 4000mi not touched a thing and yes it will kick my D8's AS_ and any one elses AS_ ! If you look at the dyno reports from like dynotech research every 07 700 dynoed above 140 hp!!!!! they rip just my 2 cents

There's a reason you see very few of them for sale and if you do find one, they aren't cheap. They are one of the better sleds that Polaris has produced. There are a few service items that the dealer can check on for you with the VIN number (There was a reflash in 07, a metal bracket added to the plastic chaincase cover, etc).

2007 DRAGON 700

might be working a deal for this sled and was wondering if there were any issues to look for or that might need attenion down the line with this sled ? ty

I have a 2007 D7 3700 miles no problems

My bud also has a 2007 D7, 2500 trouble-free miles.

Check out the TECH TIPS FOR 600/700/800 CFI's under the "INCREASING YOUR IQ " thread at the top of this section

Great sled i also have had 1 and never a problem sold it to my friend he loves it. I have the 09 700 rmk 155 also in my trailer and its trouble free. These sleds have the MR. Reliable title buy and you will love it.

Since my 07 D7 i have had an 09 assault and now have a 10 D8. my 07 D7 was still my favorite sled i have ever owned!! Great sled!

Bro-in-law has one and almost 4000 miles. Runs like a champ!! Keeps up with the D8's in our group. Buy it.

Best sled I've ever owned!
I did have a problem with the voltage regulator right after I bought it, but had this changed on the warranty.
If the person who's going to ride this weighs around #220 then I'd recomend to get the rear torsion springs changed to the HD springs (p#7041942-067+7041943-067)
Buy it!!

I wish i could trade my 2010 D8 back in for my 07 D7. My D7 was awesome, never any problems. Recharged the schocks at the beginning of each season and some regular maintenance, other than that pull the rope and go. Mine had almost 2k on it when i sold it. I wish i could have it back after all my problems with my D8! It will run with the 8's, in fact will probably do better than alot of them right now as large percentage of them are running very poorly. I honestly feel like my 7 would beat up on my 8 the way it is running right now!

There are some issues I have had with my 07 700 155 .
Mostly small stuff exhaust bellows ect. The main issue is you might loose some freinds that ride 8's.

I bought an 09 700 this year. Coming from an 05 900, I was concerned if it had enough power, etc., etc, but it has been the most fun sled I have owned. My vr went out on first ride but was covered under warranty in a few hours. Now I have 1200 miles on it, and never worry about it breaking down (like an 8 or the old 9). Its a super fun pull and go sled. And it smokes my friends m1000 with mods!

The way of the 700

My 07 700 is a monster. Honestly, pull the cord, squeeze the flipper, go like heck, add gas, repeat. I just finished modding mine. I spent $5,500 on the suspension and left the engine stock. I did have to replace the cluch and a torn ex valve baffle but at last years Arctic Man it ran good in spite of the bad parts.

700s rule

Hi

My name is Eric and I live in Helena, MT. New to the SnoWest Forum.

I just bought a 2007 Dragon yesterday with 1900 miles on it. It also has a two place drive on, drive off trailer, cover and two bags on it. It also has the added vents in the dash. Otherwise totally stock.

Did you do any changes to yours from stock?

Thanks

Eric

08 dragon was great till i found out why they updated the cranks, 1800 miles stock sled clutch and end of crank left the rest of the engine. they don't last for ever,

07 D7 163 for sale, check out my ad

Well I'm very glad to read that the 07 D7 had no problems, but I'm very sad that I'm selling my sled. Only had 723 miles. If anyone interested check out my ad listed here.

rode my 2010 all season. No problems whatsoever. Gas and go. Was a great nimble little sled. Thinking of trading for an 2011. Not sure if I want to trade the dependablity for the unknown. Don't think you can go wrong with the 07' and newer 700s. Jesse.
