This sled is Awesome

Had a good ride today. 40+ miles. So that would make about 190 total miles on it.
That sled has so much power. And I am just running it at 10 lbs of boost and no nitrous. Can't wait to get into some deeper snow and push it a little harder. I have heard lots of people say that they are half of quarter throttle and still able to climb hills, I now believe it. This thing makes stock 800's feel pretty soft.
This also has an incredible track. Lots of traction and floatation.

gas

what gas r u running through this machine???????? is it 110 or a mixture with 91 also is the oil injected or do u mix the oil with the gas ..........thanks

Gas

It runs on straight 110 octane.

It is not oil injected so you have to mix your fuel.

They are selling 110 octane in Boise for $5.60.

Price Lowered

Why buy a new D8? This only has 180 total miles, and it has 60+ more horsepower.

Why buy anybody else's Polaris turbo? This has all Holz lightweight front and rear suspension.

$9600

$8900 new price

Why would I sell this thing?!?

Well my 7 year old son just got his first sled. A fire breathing 1983 Yamaha 300. So he is bombing down the trail at a whopping 15 mph and I am riding this monster. Doesn't make much sense.

I didn't want to post this because now every guy with a 1990 phazer is going to what to trade me straight across.

So please, no trade offers....

This is the carb turbo.

As far as adjustments go, you just watch your EGT's and keep your temps between 1100 to 1300 degrees.

Adjustments are simple. Open the hood and a 1/8 to 1/4 turn on the air screws will adjust for a couple jet sizes.

I have been riding it in McCall at 5000+ elevation and haven't adjusted anything at all.

Rode with a 09 800 XP yesterday, and we traded sleds. He was very impressed.

I am a B to B+ rider, and the thing I like about this the most is you don't have to carry so much speed to keep afloat in deep or difficult terrain. You and creep up to hills or terrain, pick your line and then gas it. The last three years I have ridden a 2004 king cat w/ mods, a 925 Holz 159" custom tube chassis sled, 07 XRS 800 159" modded; and none of those compare to this as far as being easy and controllable to ride. This has definately made me a better rider.

320 miles

Had two good rides on it this weekend.

Saturday ride was interesting. I have heard that when these turbos are 'not tuned right,' they run very poorly. And boy did I every learn that lesson on Saturday. Unloaded, let it warm up, and then headed up the trail from the upper Brundage parking lot. Get it up to about 5000 to 6000 RPM, about 5 lbs of boost, and then 'bam-bam-bam-bam.' I thought I totally lost the engine. Only thing that convinced me the engine wasn't a total lost was the fact that the lower end sounded good and solid. Having never adjusted on this thing, I gave my friend a call for some help. He gave me the turbo builders name and number for some help.
So I called Bill Laughlin at Wilderness Motorsports in Payette Idaho. Man was he ever patient and fantastic. Knew that sled and the settings like the back of his hand. Told me to adjust the main fuel screws to here and the turbo fuel screw to there and fired it back up to absolute perfection.
I think it might have been his day off when I caught him, but he still took the time with me, answered several other questions and a couple more phone calls from me. Makes you really feel good about the sled you are riding when you have a guy like that supporting it.
Bill will only get my business in the future. Thank you very much Bill.

Sundays Ride. 60 miles on 1 tank of gas. 7 mountain lakes (Box, Pearl, Brush, Duck, Hum, Blackwell, Squaw), and a great running sled.

I just lowered the price even more, $9300.

I do have a lot of stock parts available. Complete stock front end, can, air box, rear suspension. I will include all of the parts with the sled for no extra charge.

Had another great ride this weekend with absolutely no troubles. This is a great running sled for those riders that are not mechanically inclined.
