Does anyone have any pro/cons on these sleds? What to buy.......

Those are both good sleds and very reliable. I have an 07 M8 and haven't had any problems with it. I'm a little disappointed with the suspension and the ride. I haven't had any problems with the diamond drive either, but there are plenty of threads here about potential problems. All in all you won't go wrong with either one, but if it were me, I think I'd get the RMK. I also have an older RMK 700 and they are bullet proof. Just my $.02

Stock for stock the 09 700 will dominate the 07 m8.
I've never heard of a single issue with the 700s. Don't know anything about the m though
I have an 07 M8. It is my first rider forward sled and i am loving it. As far as the suspension goes, i guess i am not tuned in enough to notice in the pow and chop- i seem to do just fine- i am very actice with my legs. now a whooped out trail or even a trail in decent shape....well i read a perfect comment somewhere here on snowest: i bounce from tree to tree to get back to the truck. Whatever, when i throw down for a suspension i will kill it with that thing.
No probs with DD here. I was told change the oil every 500 miles.
I dont know much about the 700. Sounds like it is a great sled.

I'm a cat guy but I ended up renting a 700 for a day a few years back and I loved it. Both sleds are comparable power-wise and handling-wise. 700 was a quicker revver and more flickable. Now if it was between a 09 and newer cat I would give the overall edge to the cat. The various suspension and chassis changes made it way more flickable and the 10 and newer got the new engine which is awesome.
