2007 M1000 Motor Mounts

I ride a 2007 M1000 with a BDX Light Drive, when I had the drive installed by our wonderful dealer here at the begining of last year they didnt install the rubber torque bumper between the motor mount and drive case correctly, I didnt notice it until I was getting the sled ready to ride this fall.
I spoke with the dealer about it and he claimed that it can work its way out on its own???
Needless to say I installed it back into its home, not easy to do. Not sure how it could come out on its own!!!
Been riding a few times and trashed a new belt in about 150 miles WTF????
I get looking around at the motor and all of the rubber motor mounts are trashed!
Anyone seen the rubber torque bumper come out on its own???
Is it possible that the motor mounts are trashed because of the motor moving around to much?

mine really shakes at a idle & I'm sure its hard on the mounts, I'm going to turn up my idle a little & see if some of the shake goes away

I have had 4 m series sleds and none of the torque bumpers have come loose. Same with my buddies. The mechanic made a mistake when he put it back together. I'd ask him to stand behind it. Your thoughts are correct. Don't let him BS you.

there is no way that would just fall out on its own, he just forgot to put it back in.

FWIW, I was gonna turn up the idle on my 1000 and asked a mech at Cutlers and he advised against it, said it will hurt performance. Sounds like bs to me, but who knows????

I've also heard a lot of the shaking is because of the AC clutches not being balanced all that well, not sure if thats the problem with all of them, but heard getting it balanced by SLP or someone made a couple guys shaking go away. I just put a brand new 3 post (warranty) on my 07 M1000 and it didn't help the shaking at all. Im geussing its going to cause problems in the long run (or short run) and would like to get it figured out??

I own a machine shop in North Salt Lake City Utah and we do alot of pump and compressor work for the Oil & Gas people. We have a precision balance machine and have been balancing snomobile clutchs for Arctic Cat, Polaris, and Ski Doo's the results have been good we balance to a high speed pump spec. Its amazing how far out of balance a new stock clutch is. We balanced all the clutchs on my M sleds and they seem to run real smooth. I dont think you can judge the balance at idle. The motors shake alot especially on the bigger bore motors but give them a little throttle and they seem to mellow right out. I do have balance mandrels for all three manufactures so if your intrested in having us balance your clutch let me know.
