2007 Dragon 700 - piston/jug interchange??

My research has shown that the jug/piston for the 2007 Dragon CFI 700 is only interchangeable (parts numbers wise) with "early" '08 production 700's but nothing else

Late model 2008-10 run a different part##.

My question --> is does anyone know the physical differences between the 2 (2007 vs 2008-10's)??

Any input is appreciated.

I looked into this also. The difference I seen is 1 has decompression and the other does not. Not sure if there are any other differences, but that is one of the differences in the 2.

Single ring and dual ring pistons maybe? My '07 has dual ring pistons, I think the later models have single ring.
