It depends where you live and how good your core is for exchange. The core charge is $700 and you can get shortblocks online for around $1200 plus shipping (and your core+core charge). If you want the 1 year warranty on the shortblock you have to pay a ski-doo dealer to install the whole thing.

Really? $1200 plus shipping and that is with the core money back so without the core it is $1900?

I paid 1400 for mine shipped. I had the dealer do it for warrenty. Think after all said and done it was 1900.

My first crank went out at 750 miles skidoo fixed it a no charge, second crank went out at 1400 miles skidoo will not fix at there expence. They said all they will do is sell me a 08 / 09 sort block for half price I think about $1100, the core is worth$700 but my crank is bad so I will only get about $400 for the core and to get that deal you have to have it done at a dealer and pay there shop time. For were I'm at thats about $2100 to $2500 my cost! I'm pulling my 07 800r out my self and sending it to fastacks in puwallup WA.
