yikes? it's the hood insulation coming loose and resting on the EGR system...not a big thing to fix...not like pistons are failing or something.
My 6.7 is fantastic.
Just had a Kenwood DNX8120 put in it yesterday with DVD/Nav/Bluetooth/all that other stuff. Pretty sweet now. No, I realize it's not a big deal, but it sure could be if it started a fire.... Scary thought, no?
Very scary... especially if it's in a building when it goes up. I think this is what they're most afraid of. Remember the trouble Ford got into when their mini-vans were igniting because of a short in the ignition switch. If I remember right, I think a few people died.
