2006 switchback 600 blinking brake light

Hey guys I'm doing some work on a friends sled right now and one of the things he mentioned to check out is an issue with his brake light randomly flashing ON THE DASH while he isn't touching the lever. Has anyone ever had this happen? Could some one point me in the right direction on what i should check out first!

Check the wiring to the tail light, probably got exposed wires somewhere along the line.
