2006 M7 headlite/resistor

Hey there i know in the new 08s u dont need a resistor when u pull the headlites, but does anyone know for a 06 M7 thanks alot
 
you will need one. 50watt resistor if you pull the lights, 100watt if you pull the gauge also.
 
$65.00 is pretty reasonable. We use the one that Boondockers supplies and they are $59.99. Easy to install and necessary on the M6 or M7 if you are removing the lights or gauges. A lot less money than an ECU for sure.:)
 
one headlight

I was thinking about running one hadlight with both light on and venting the other side.This should put the same load on the system because it would be just like running 2 low beams.It actually might be a bit more because of the higher intensity of the high beam.
Should work????
