2006 M7 clutching help

My buddy has taken off his SLP twins and has gone to the Bikeman single, y-pipe, and stock silencer.(Thanks to a tree!!!!!) Currently it has the orange secondary spring with the 44/40 cat helix and a shift assist. It has been recommended to me to run the orange/white cat primary spring. I think the spring rate is 140/285. Anybody know have any suggestions on the primary weights? Also does anybody know what RPM this set up is supposed to run? Thanks in advance for the help....:D:D

first off what elevation do you ride I ride 7500 to 10000 and am going to ry 68s in the primary with the gold arctic cat spring i have a torsion setup in the secondary so i do not know what to tell you but alot of people seem to like the orange spring in the stock setup with shift assist

68 gram cat weights gold spring in primary
10.4 sheeves with strait 38 helix and the red spring with the cutler torsional conversion ! spring is in the 3rd hole ! hits 8050 all day long ! stock exhaust with HPS can !!! i ride GW , gold creek and baker hits 46mph track speeds under load !!! stock was 34 mph

Sorry, rides at 3-6500. He is not interested in the torsional secondary at this time. What is the spring rate of the gold primary?

75-275 gold spring rate. Riding that low I would think you could pull 70s but probably need a stiffer primary than the gold maybe not though clutching is so touchy

What helix did you have before the swap? Thats a huge difference. I am trying to decide if I should get a conversion.
