2006 M7 2 Wheel kit help?

k i cant seem to get my bolts to loosen my trackto loosen at all ive tried penetrating oil everything they wont seem to budge i was just wondering if anyone has had this same problem and how did they fix it? also once i get them loose whats the easiest way to get the wheels off cause there on the same shaft? also theres gotta be a easier way to take off the bearing for the wheels?

You did losen off the pinch bolts on the end of the idler wheel shaft right? Slack the adjusters off, and its a done deal... Sometimes the shaft if you get one side loose, but even with it slacked a little, it'll come. Wheels just slide off the shaft with ease normally, and if i remember correctly, you can just pull the snap ring out and the bearing comes out pretty easy.

ive done two of these kits one on my buds sled and one on my sled. we did it without even unadjusting the track adjusters, (cuz were kinda lazy and figured it would be less work than having to readjust the track but it probably wasnt) we just popped the plastic covers off the wheels, took the axel bolts out then took the four bolts out that hold the whole adjuster assemblys to the rails out and popped them off. then pop the wheels off and pull the old axle out put wheels and spacers on new axle put new axle/wheels inside the rails then using some muscle put the adjusters back against the axle and pushed until the bolt holes line up and installed the adjuster mount bolts then tighten up the axle bolts and call her good.

Seems like alot more work to do a 2 wheel kit. I did mine in 30 min but loosening the track and no strenth required. I made some marks on the rail so I knew aprox how tight I needed to make it again.
