Does it mater which injector is hooked to which plug as long as they are on the correct side

Most definitely... The lower injectors are fueling idle to 6000 rpm then the lesser effective high rpm upper injectors kick in.

How can you tell they have the same plug and I can't read the tags
Also I looked for a wiring diagram and could not find one

I really appreciate all the help don't know why I didn't tag them had to rebuild mounting plate for steering bracket plate broke out
long wiring harness goes to the farthest injector away from the ecu and the short wiring harness goes to the closest injector to the ECU... Not trying to be sarcastic or anything just saying.
Sounds good in theory but you know how the harness is on the 900 that is just what I got done doing I cut all the ties and pulled it out to see just that Just back together and all is good thanks for the replies
