2006 Duramax Brake Lights Not Working

The brake lights on my truck are not working. The light above the cab still works but the right and left tail-light break lights don't work. I've checked fuses and haven't found any burned.

there are fuses inside cab and under the hood, do you have brake lights at the trailer plug?? if you do then it might be in the plug in on the back crossmember where the taillight harness plugs in, the trailer harness plugs into the same block

I changed the swich on the brake lever and that was not the problem. I'll hook up to a trailer tomorrow to see if I have trailer brake lights.

had a buddy with an 03 that didnt have trailer lights, (not sure on just truck brake lights) he fought it for a while, a GM tech told him to check the 3rd brake light bulb itself, sure enough that was causing him all the problems. chevy/GM's have some pretty complex electronics.

just seen you do have the 3rd brake light, there goes that idea!
