2006 Dragon 900 Fuel Pump Failure

A friend of mine has lost what appears to be a fuel pump on his 2006 900 Dragon. We tested it for spark on both cylinders and it was good. The snowmobile will run whe fuel is given externally but will soon die. The snowmobile has 1800 miles on it. Is this a common problem like the 900 RMK? Could it be covered under a recall? Just wondering and trying to help out a friend.:face-icon-small-hap

there was a recall for the fuel lines deteriorating in the fuel tank...and it would clog the pump/filter/injectors...

have you tried to prime the fuel pump yet...try that and see if its circulating or even working at all..

check the fuel pressure if you get it to prime

when is the last time the fuel filter was replaced..

i am sorry to see her having issues, hope we can get you started on a good foot...cheers to you for helping her out..thats too bad you have a CAT, lol..jk..
