I have a 2006 summit x 800, I noticed when I was taking off the clutch for a pre season cleaning, all the allignement marks are alligned except the sheave with the splines it seems the marks do not go straight across they are either a spline forward or a spline backward is this right? I thought all the marks were to go straight across what do you guys think? Thanks for the help

alignment

You should be able to align the clutch arrows pretty much dead on. If you're trying to align the clutch to the alignment slot in-between the clutch and starter ring gear, it usually is a spline or two off. It's fine that way.

Hope it helps,
Mike

That is the mark i was trying to allign the arrows on the front of the clutch with, but as I said they are one spline off from alligning Do you still think that is OK? Thanks
