2006 Apex with blown motor

Im selling for a friend of mine, he has a 2006 apex with bad motor, it has 2400 miles, and he thinks it threw a rod, but other then that its in good shape.
Hes looking for 2,000$ but might consider parting it out.
Bone stock, no other damage besides the motor.

Have no idea, what is wrong if you are interested pm me and i can get you his contact info, shop wants 300 just to take the motor apart, he thinks its a rod or bent valve.

If its a bent valve, its an easy fix. Just don't see how you bend a valve on a stock sled?

Ive got no idea, Thats just what the shop told him, he doesnt want to pay to tear the motor apart, anybody whos interested i can give you his phone number
