working on my buddies 06 apex mtx he just bought it has a rear mount tubo setup built from an rx1 intercooler and the turbo is originally a boondocker sidemount just moved the problem is it was setup to 800 feet now where we live its 1300 feet ,and we cant get it to run right .the controller on it is a boondocker turbo and i have played with it for way to long and am getting frustrated can somone help me get it setup to run the way it should .
sled runs fine if you roll into it easily but as soon as you hammer down its starts to pop and the rpms fall off the board.9 lbs. boost and peaks at 12 on premium fuel .rpms go to 10600 and stay there .
is there a possibility that it doesnt have enough weightin the primary and its quickly overrevs and the tach just doesnt read that quick help me out please and thank you.
