2006 800 H.O. powerTECH .... What's the hot clutch set up ?????

160/290 Primary srping, (1) 6mm pin (Adjust per body weight/riding elevation), 412 Ramps. I beleve there is a center spring cup bushing, Remove it.

Secondary - TEAM clutch w/ 62/44-42 w/ Red/Black

Main perfomance gain for this sled is a gear change along with the above set-up;

For 800: 151= Stock Gear – 19/45, 19/46 better, 19/47 Best. For 144: = 21/45, 21/46, 20/45 best.

For 600/144 = Stock 19/45, 19/46 better, 18/45 Best.

I hope you're talking 'bout 10 tooth drivers with that low of gearing! And 412 ramps give awesome pull out of the hole but not so much for highmarking. I use them in my Gade - lotsa fun for that sled. DJ has some promising ramps you might want to try instead, with your setup, that won't lose top end push like the 412's.

Have FUN!

PS - If you want a clutch kit that actually clamps the belt harder (at full shift) and works with stock gearing instead of gearing down - get Tom's 3D arms and kit. A lot more expensive (because you're buying new arms too) but worth every penny and I've tried them all (except for Winterbrew's which also gets good reviews here).

He didnt say he had an "X", yes 10 tooth. And lmao about this combo not good for highmarking ............. this sled set-up was impressive where I ride and live, 8500' to 10k', but hell what do I know, I just ride the trails.

Never said you had a bad setup, simply that there are better alternatives to 412 ramps which were designed for the powerband of a 600 Gade.

Have FUN!

PS - FWIW I ran 412 ramps in my '07 Summit 800R for a couple years before I saw the light. As the saying goes... "Been there, done that."
