2006 700 rmk questions

I bought my wife a 2006 700 rmk just a few days ago. I am not real familiar with these sleds. But the mileage was low and price was decent.

What things do i need to check for on this thing? It was only ridden 3 times in the last few years and has yet to be serviced this year.

When i went and looked at it it started very easy like 2nd pull and sounds perfectly fine. So i bought it loaded it up and left. When i put it in the garage at home i noticed oil dripping from the exhaust it made a fair sized puddle. It didn't do this when I loaded it. I have read a lot about the oil pump cable breaking. Where does it break? Any other ideas what would cause this?

I got to looking closer and noticed the y pipe is missing a bolt and it looks like the boots for the tbi on the engine side have cracks is this normal?

The 2006 700 (755) was a one year sled that was very similar to the two year ('05-'06) 900. I would start off by reading through the "Increasing Your IQ" sticky at the top of the IQ forum, there is a ton of good info on what to look out for and how to fix minor issues.

That oil puddle is normal at the beginning of a season, it comes out of the Y pipe/exhaust pipe connection until the engine warms up and carbon seals up the air leaks around the donut.

You'll want to replace the rubber boots if they are cracking (which is also normal), you'll be sucking excessive air.

There are a few 755/900 masters on here, hopefully they'll speak up and give you the complete rundown.
