Hi guys,
I have a 2006 700 rmk that is fouling plugs during the ride. Almost every time when I start the sled it acts like a choke is on and it bogs a lot. After a minute or so, it clears up and seems to run pretty well, especially in the upper RPM range. After a couple hours of riding, it starts to bog, backfire and eventually will only be running on one cylinder. I switch out the plugs and she is ready to go for a couple more hours. Any ideas what would cause this? It sure seems like the choke is on, especially right after start-up. But this is EFI. No choke right? When the plugs come out they are both very wet. Also, it isn't just one cylinder that fouls the plug. This happened twice yesterday and it was a different plug that fouled each time.
After the initial start-up bog is gone, I still think it is running rich because it does tend to load up a lot and I have to open it up and clear it out frequently.
I just installed the FBF throttle cable because I initially thought that was the issue, but it didn't fix the problem.
Thanks for the help!
