I am trying to help a buddy out with his 600 summit 144". He would like to gear it down a bit and possible help the primary with engagement. I believe it has a 19 top and a 45 bottom from the factory. I was thinking about going a couple teeth down on the bottom and possible the next stiffer spring for the primary. Any suggestions? Let me know.. Thanks...

Hi there you are on the right track. I run 19x47 with purple /purple primary on 2005 800x works very well for 200lb guy andbelt and clutches run cooler. hope this helps .
