TTT for anyone looking to get a Billet cover for their 2005 IQ RMK 900/Fusion 900..

I spoke with Kreg (Polzinhunter) and he is vigerously working his skills on the covers and will update me, when they are ready to go...

If you are interested, please PM me and I will get you any info you need, or just to add you to the list of current buyers...

currently we are sitting at 15 and 3 maybes...

If you have not seen Kregs work..trust me its excellent to say the least and his knowledge of sledding is put in his work..you can also check out his rider select delete kit as well by checking out this link..

Dog..

as far as being available..yes, Polzinhunter is working on making them as we speak..should have some ready to ship around 1 sept if all goes well..so if you want on, let me know and i will add you to the list

as far as price..i cant make that call since Kreg is the one making them...but i would "guesstimate" around $150??? but do not quote me..could be less, could be slightly more...this wont be known until its completed...

but trust me..it will be well worth it...dump those garbage plastic covers..

ALL covers will have a sight glass..NOT a dipstick FYI...

Count me in for one, Kreg makes good stuff :)

Please be paitent fellas they are coming !I am here on Saturday and Sunday working on them. The design and protyping is the hard part. Once I get everything done and ready to go These will go pretty fast. Please let me or Sean know if you want on the list. I have to fit these in to the schedule and I am a self employeed single dad in the middle of a divorce so my schedule is jammed as you might imagine! If you think you want one get your name on the list as I may also ask for a deposit ( for materials ) once a prototype is checked and approved. I am feeling the pinch to get these done and I know how hard it is to wait but you will all see these LONG BEFORE THE SNOW FLIES IF IT KILLS ME ! But hopefully around Sept .1 as mentioned

I will be posting a CAD rendering very soon if I can figure out how!

So far I can tell you that the cover will be .0625" thiner than the plastic covers and should hold a slightly larger volume of oil as well . As Sean mentioned they will have a sight glass(same as 06 covers ) as well as a plug for filling.

I am happy to answer any questions you may have as well as welcoming any input.

:beer;

and I have sent 9 PMs to "maybe" guys and recieved 1 maybe back, and 2 NO's...

so this leaves us at 12 YES.
1 maybe
5 unknown (original YES) (no reply yet)
6 unknown (no reply yet)

So if i have sent you a PM, please reply..OR reply on this post and i will get it also...

Thanks guys..

Getting closer fellas ! Here is a CAD model of the cover. Its nothing fancy but should be way better than what you have now !as you can see it will have a sight glass like the 06 covers and the fill port will be near the location of the dipstick on the plastic covers .I will be making and test fitting the prototype very soon and I will post pics as soon as its done! I would welcome any feedback you may offer! I am thinking at this point that I will have these anondized in black and clear !

Kreg..

LOOKS excellent as usual..

I assume the small hole would be where the fill plug is..not near my sled to see whats there now, lol..

keep up the hard work...

Yes The small hole is where the fill plug would go . It is about 1" to the right of the dipstick tube on the plastic cover you have now . Please take a look when you can to see If there willl be any coflict on the placement of either of thes holes . Now is the time to make changes and any imput in very much welcome and appreciated . Ideally you would be able to see the sight glass and acess the fill hole only having to remove the side panel!
