2005 M7 153 Slide Rails

I need to replace both slide rails on a 2005 M7 153. Can you replace the slide rails with a newer model like an 2009-10? They are lighter weight and the shock mount has already been relocated. Or would I be better off using something like the ice-age units? Any recomendations good or bad? Thank you for the help!

Rails

I have been told by more than one person that the 09 rails have cut outs in locations where the 05 suspension mounts.You could put a float conversion on then it would work.

The 09 rails are weak and have been known to bend, the older ones are stronger IMO
