just bought a used 05 m6 and dindt come with an owners manual. i amtrying to change the dd oil and it doenst seem to have a fill plug.
can anyone tell me how to drain and fill the dd and how much it should hold. i tried searching and could not find anything on a dd without a fill plug. thanks,

You have two options on those. There is a drain/fill plug. You can roll the sled on the right side and pull the plug and let it drain, the roll it on the left side and fill it up. Or pull the DD out and drain and fill (or split it and check it over carefully, then fill). There are some old threads on here about how to do both if you can find them.

I've opened DD cover and cleaned old oil properly. I can also check the gears also they are ok. After that roll the sled on the right side and put gears, oil and cover back. Little messy but works :)

best to just pull it out like was said. get a good look at all the gears and fill it on the bench. of course it can be done with it still in the sled, but you bought it used and its down for the summer. so check er out and order parts if need be before the snow flies which i wish would be soon!!!!

Buy a flush and oil kit

If you buy a flush and oil kit you will not need to open it up. I would pull it we do and use a drill to run the flush and then just fill it back with Arctic Cat oil.
