2005 iq 440

I just got a 2005 IQ 440 and its trail converted with pump gas heads and 11 gallon tank. But i was going over the sled and can anyone tell what the dial is under the hood next to the brakes? Also can anyone tell me how to properly use the hot start button. thx

Its a timing box, If I recall right its suppose to be run on E for trail use but you better double check on that.

The dragon button is used to preheat the pipe to get the holeshot at a race, its hell on reeds and if your not going to race it I would not use it and even disconnect it.

alright thats i new it was a timing box i just didnt know what setting to put it on. And the hot start i new it heated the pipe and that it eats the reeds but was just curious about how to use it properly. Thanks for the info.

like stated above.....don't use it unless you are snocross racing it. It will destroy your reeds. The timing dial should be set on E for trail riding. Your best bet would be to disconnect the dragon button. The payoff just isnt there when you're trail riding.

ok i dont plan on useing the dragon button at all but i really dont trail ride the sled im just saying that it is trail converted. all i do is off trail so should i still set the dial to E.
