2005 Fusion 900 Check Engine Light

Perhaps someone can give me some advice. The check engine light is blinking continuously. While it was running I noticed an exhaust leak from one of the exhaust valves... cracked diaphram. The light has been blinking intermintantly till now... now it wont stop and the engine runs rough.

Will this condition cause the flashing light?

There is no 'continuous' blink on the sleds... be sure to count how many times it blinks before a brief break and begins blinking the code again.....

Thanks for the reply, it was the TPS code with one blink. Therefore it seemed like a continuous blink. Broken wire.
