2005 900 steering boot cover always coming off repair

I think this is only for the 05 models when Polaris thought it was best to use a cloth steering boot cover and zip tie it on. Problem was they were always coming off.

Pick up the 07 rubber boot style part # 5433532 and #5433533 these will stretch over the lip on your existing bulkhead covers and 2 of the rivets will line up with existing screw holes. The 3rd you will have to drill a new hole but it looks very factory and you wont have these coming off anymore.

Good idea. Lost both of my stock cloth covers. Bought an 06 replacement, but they fill up with snow just as bad as the cloth ones.

Just looked at mine and both are gone, thats the way it was when I bought it and never knew something went there. Definitely going to be doing this to my sled. Thanks guys!!!
