2005 900 rmk skis

Could someone tell me the advantages of changing the stock spindals and skis on the 05 900. I have read in several threads that this should be done but am not sure why.Thanks
 
its this simple...

drive a dump truck (ALL stock 900)

drive a corvette (a 900 with aftermarket spindles, gripper skis, better front suspension, 225lb front track spring)

there you go..


WORTH EVERY PENNY to get them upgraded...you'll thank me later..
 
The handling is not good stock! The sidehiller skis for the 900 make it steer hard. There are several skis that work! The different angles of the other spindles also improve the steering, but not as much as different skis !!
There a several threads that speak about each! I have PPD-EXMT skis, but my new sled has the new polaris gripper mountain ski and it works great also!!

Corvette's a stretch...more like drive a dump truck (stock) or drive a dump truck with power steering (the rest of the stuff Sean said)

hahaha... pretty close, I'd say more like a dump truck versus a late model diesel pickup;):D:D:beer;
 
HA...ok ok..maybe a little far fetched...but trying to clarify how DRASTIC the difference really is..

maybe a long bed, 4 door dodge mega cab...vs...short bed,standard cab ford ranger ;)

Dragon Grippers, and HRP EZ-STEER 's .

Ryde FX's all the way around, seem to be fine. Put the heavy front spring in.

Put a Piviot riser on it also, Stand up and boon dock or pull it back to cruise the trail .
