2005-09 IQ Skinz Float Plates

I know there have been several guys looking for a Skinz Float Plate for the 05-09 IQ Chassis and we have 8 in stock for the 2005-09 for $120 shipped to your door. We have several colors in stock so pm us for availability!

I just placed an order for the BLUE float plate from Brandon.

Will let you guys know how this goes.

Gonna use the Float plate in combination with the TCP bumper on a 2005 RMK 900 166 Anniversary sled.

Just wondering if there are any mounting issues with the skinz plate if you have a try-city bumper with the nose pan cut out per try-citys' instructions? thanks to anyone who can tell me!

I believe Mountainhorse said they mount right up. The 09 version should fit even better I would think as it is designed around the new nose cone and aluminum bumper. It is my understanding that the 09 float plate is the same as the previous design, but is cut back a little more for proper fitment.

If you are running the TCP bumper in the normal way with the fenders trimmed back, IMO, the skinz plate is NOT the way to go... it will hold way too much snow behind it since this area is open now on your sled.

If you have the TCP bumper, the Float plate is the way to go if you dont trim the fenders back.... again IMO

I'd run a cut back normal skid plate.

The 2009 SPG front ends are looking awesome.... they should be out pretty soon... the float plate should be on everyones hit list...
