2004 summit

I have a 2004 summit been a badass sled, how often do the crank seals need done, I believe mine are allowing air to get sucked by, I have put 4k on this sled, but overall it has 9k on the chasis. again a lot of work done by Felkers of Denver to it and keep everything running great, also, should I do the bearings while I have it tore down, any tips on changing these out, How do I know if I need to do the center seals. (I am aware I would have to have a shop do that), any info would be great, I have never had to crack this sled and don't know what to expect. thanks.

Heres what you do.. Take it out and send it to BigJohn at sled head racing.. Thats how you get a perfect running engine..

X2 on sending it to bj...do it now and you'll have mired than enough time to get it back and in the sled before season...you are on borrowed time as it is. You pulled the pin on that grenade at 4k. He'll get you a fully rebuilt crank, true it, new isoflex and all seals, and instal it all at an awesome price with service second to none. You'll be happy you did. After all, there's a reason people send him their motors from all over the country

Yep. I did the same thing with my 04 REV. had the crank and pistons done. Did a great job and did it quick.
