Up for sale is my baby. It's a 2004 Ski-Doo Summit Highmark Extreme 800 HO. I bought the sled with 2200 miles on it in march of 2013. I rebuilt the motor from the crank up in October of 2013. These motors were notorious for melting because of their single ring pistons. I changed that as I melted the PTO side down right after buying it. So I tore the entire engine apart and replaced everything. I have receipts to prove these also.
Engine Rebuild List
-Wiseco Dual Ring Pistons
- Remanufactured PTO side cylinder from Millennium Technologies.
- VForce3 Reeds
-Ski-Doo OEM Crankshaft
-Mag side cylinder was rehoned.
-Lower elevation jetting to OEM standards.
-Clutch spring to stock. I do still have the other clutch spring.
-Clutch weights to stock
-The entire engine bay was also cleaned very well when the motor was out. It is a very clean sled.
It does have an MBRP can on it as well. Sounds really good. It comes with sway bar, gas caddy, stock exhaust, yellow skid plate, and yellow a arm guards. I have about 1000 miles on the rebuild and couldn't be happier. There are no missing lugs on the track, and if you dont know it is a 159x16x2 inch track. It has a few scratches as it is a mountain sled. I also have RSI hand guards and bar pad that will come with the sled along with a Powermadd pivot adapter and another ski doo 8 inch riser. Reason I'm selling is that I'm in college now, and I bought a car that I want to build over the winter, and the money from the sled would help alot. I would consider partial trades plus cash on your end for a car or another sled. Asking $3,900 OBO. The sled is located in Mellen, WI 54546.
