2004 summit 600ho in shop, need reccomendation ASAP

Just got a call from the shop and my 600 HO has low compression in one jug. I don't know the #'s but the sled has ~ 1800 miles on stock top end. What brand of pistons should I have the shop use for a top end rebuild?

Bill Cudney?
SPI Hyperdrive pistons?
OEM?
Wiseco?

Thoughts and opinions would be greatly appreciated asap as I need to let the shop know soon.

I've had great results in SPI in various sleds. Just did my 600ho end of last year with the spi/spx 'tmoly' slugs and it pulls like a freight train. I did use the BRP circlips with the leg on them, you need to take a bit off of the leg but there is no way those suckers are coming out.

04 MXZ- backcountry Mod's

Hey, I also have an 04' summit Mxz with a 144 track. Any recommendations for new track size and other mods to get this thing rippin in the backcountry?

When I worked at a BRP shop we used SPI exclusively except for warranty jobs. Never did one come back.

Im going to give out a shout for Big John. I have used his products and I have many customers of mine using his products on their own or I recommended John to them.

What I like about John is he is a decent size of business that is research intensive on his engine products and tests out on the dyno and field...can particularly tailor to an individual application. (rave springs/settings, base gasket, spark plug) all those little things that pull a few more lbs torque out of the good ol' 600's.

Shout him up on a set of pistons and a trail torquer kit for that 600.
With the engine down, you have a great opportunity for a tech head to point in a great direction.

John does good work!
