what mods for cheap can i do to this thing

is it a rev, xp or zx........... you can tak off unneeded foam and other unnessesary stuff to make it lighter every bit adds up
Eliminate the large rack on the back and switch to a small led light. Cut the sway bar out, port the track, drop idler wheels run scratchers, switch to a (2) wheel system in the rear.get rid of alum. plates behind the oir resivor and headlights. Take off heat shield on pipe and get it coated. Dump the stock can for an aftermarket lots available for cheap on the net.

Don't cut it out.
Take your time and remove it so if you end up hating the poor trail handling (Like I did) you can put it back.

Like Joemama said also contact BigJohn on here talk to him about getting trail torquers kit. that will wake up this sled. also get some reeds.

X2 on the trail torquer kit from Big John. I put that set-up in my sled and yes, It definatly woke it up!
But he did say cheap!
TT Kit= $275 or so.
Reeds are much more!

I just installed the small strip L.E.D. made by four barr. I was amazed at how bright it was! Picked it up from a local shop, around $30.

slp makes a great led tail light otherwise you can pick them up at some autopart stores
the bj trail torquer kit i believe come with new rings cause the 04 was known for flaky rings reed spacers, different rave springs, different base gasket, and a couple other little things

install extrovert drivers, eight tooth worked awsome on mine with19/45 gearing. add a little weight to the primary. by the roller secondary from the o6 rev with a 44/40 helix. Install airbox from 07 revs. under 1000cnd and worth every penny.
