2004 REV 800 spark issue

This sounds similar to another thread I found where the crank triggers had been reversed, but don't think it is the same problem. ( http://www.snowestonline.com/forum/showthread.php?t=184239&highlight=crank+trigger ) 2004 REV Summit 800 with reverse. Complete rebuild on engine, put it back in and no spark, however do have spark when spun backwards.

So - looking for ideas / help.

Top crank trigger is Green W/yellow stripe and gray wire, lower is blue and white wires, both have 230 ohms resistance. all the connections look good from the triggers to the ecm.

Update:
Didn't think the crank triggers got swapped, but decided to switch them and try any way. It did spark and tried to run, but was not right and seemed to be out of time, so put the triggers back in their original spot, and back to square one. When the engine was apart, had the crank rebuilt also...

Any ideas ? Faulty crank trigger ?

So the lesson learned was - if you ever take apart your crank trigger, it does matter which way the small magnet goes in - it will go in backwards...

Yes, this was the problem. Had taken a trigger apart and re-assembled it with the magnet in reversed... Only cost a few hours of trouble shooting - at least it wasn't during riding season ! Runs like a champ now !
