2004 Pro-x2 800 questions

I got a 2004 Pro-x2 800 and the machine is stock. I was wondering if anyone knew if I could fit a notched 2 inch lug track on without changing the drivers. It has nine tooth drivers right now.

Also, since i just got it i was wondering if anyone had any advice on clutching, jetting, or just any useful information for me. Even common things that go wrong that I should look out for. It would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Track

Tracks USA really knows what tracks you can fit. Call them and talk to them about your questions.

I don't know if the Pro-X is like my Edge with the coolers running down the underneath of the tunnel.

It definitely limits the size lug you can install.

I'm staying at 1-1/4" and going to 144" with an RMK skid to keep things simple.

You will have to notch the track lugs were the coolers go under the tunnel. Another way to go is a lowpro u cooler from van amburg then you wouldnt have to notch the track

if you wanna put that track on the easiest would probably be to build or find drop brackets for your track where it bolts toward the rear of tunnel. same with the front you can simply find the predrilled holes on the inner side of the tunnel, and then drop those mounts as well should drop your track away from the coolers and allow you to dig a bigger hole when stuck. Other than that for tuning check your crank as the guy mentioned earlier and run it a lil bit and check the plugs lean or richen as neccesary and see what your rpms are doing in situations. have a 2004 pro x that has been lengthened to a 151 and has an eight in that is blown has been a fun sled, but you possibly know where there is a motor?
